Crave Salt
Crave Salt Jewelry was created out of a passion for the appreciation of natural stones, fashion and all things that sparkle. Developed by two friends Rachel de Armas and Romina Heighes with the goal being to combine the unique beauty of natural crystals with fashion forward jewelry designs.
Rachel studied marketing at Florida State University and went on to received her Masters degree in fashion Merchandising from the Polimoda Institute of Design & Marketing in Florence, Italy. Romina is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, and went on to work with some of fashion's most reputable houses as well as win top honors at Miami Fashion Week in 2009 being named Emerging Designer of the Year.
Combining Rachel's 10 years of experience in the fashion industry and Romina's past experiences at Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and Carolina Herrera these woman came together to form Crave Salt. The core of the brand is that crystals have powerful energy and can be worn for their organic properties or as a beautiful statement piece and that salt is one of Earth's most plentiful and useful minerals which also has abundant healing properties. Rachel and Romina create unique pieces of jewelry by capturing the crystals innately powerful energy and combining it with beautiful, modern and unique designs that get noticed.
