Gina Nigrelli- Smith founder and lead designer of Jules Smith jewelry is in love with all things vintage. Her design aesthetic has been described as a swagger back and forth between 80’s total glam, 70’s boho chic and the 60’s post-modern era style.
Before starting her career as a jewelry designer while living in the Caribbean, Gina was a ballet dancer and fashion editor in NYC. She studied at NYU in the heart of New York City and that is where she developed her own style; a mix of indie, modern and attention grabbing. Eventually leaving the Caribbean and heading back to the NYC due to the magnetic draw and energy of it, she ventured into motherhood. She continues to balance family while still being a style icon and always staying ahead of the trend.
Always on the hunt for the next big thing, she has managed to attract several celebrities followers. Her fans include Rihanna, Olivia Wilde, Angelina Jolie, and Mary Kate Olsen just to name a few.
